Fishing charters – Offshore wreck and inshore sound fishing
Shrimping & crabbing – Net trawling trips, often paired with fishing
Cruising & dolphin watching – Relaxed and educational outings
Shrimp season: Mid June through November (typically after July 1)
Crab season: May and June, tapering off later in summer
Trip lengths: 2, 4 (most popular), 6, or 8 hours. Optional 3-hour tours may be available by request
Trips carry up to 6 guests. Pricing for Shrimp & Crab trips in-season:
2 hours – $400
4 hours – $700
6 hours – $1,000
8 hours – $1,400
(3-hour option available at $550 by request)
Up to 6 guests per trip—no exceptions. This is a federal regulation that includes all ages (adults, children, infants). Exceeding capacity could result in loss of license.

Park anywhere that’s not marked “No Parking.” The best spot is near the ship store behind the large metal dry stack building.
If the boat isn’t docked when you arrive, look toward the mouth of the harbor—you won’t miss the bright pink boat!
Arrive at least 20 minutes early
The vessel is handicap accessible, with a covered deck and indoor cabin for comfort.
Booking, Payment & Cancellation
Call (252) 305‑8862 or (252) 202‑8546. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Balance is due on the day of your charter.
Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Weather-related cancellations can only be made by the captain.
Cancel 8+ days in advance: Deposit may be refunded at the captain’s discretion.
Cancel 2–7 days in advance: Deposit may be forfeited unless we’re able to rebook the trip.
Cancel within 24 hours or no-shows: You’ll be charged the full charter price, plus a 20% tip for the mate.
Sunscreen – No aerosol sprays
Snacks, drinks, lunch or dinner – No bananas, please (fisherman superstition!)
Alcohol – Allowed in moderation, but no glass bottles
Cooler – For your catch (ice and extra coolers available for sale at the marina)
Cash – For tipping the mate (customary 20%+), fish cleaning services, and marina purchases
Optional for kids – Fitted life vest (not required, parent’s choice)
Extra clothes/shoes and towels – Especially if it’s rainy or breezy
Camera or phone – For capturing the fun!
